Along for the Ride

It has been a while since I posted on this blog so here goes.

God has been moving and working in the lives of students at Richland Creek and at the same time inspiring me. I cannot begin to explain the joy it is to see the lives of students come alive in a passionate pursuit of Jesus Christ! I am just going to mention two.

First a senior at the Creek has really reminded me of what can happen when a person simply reads the Bible and loves Jesus. God is doing amazing work in this life and it is a blessing to be along for the ride. His passion and boldness for the gospel, growth in understanding the scriptures, development as a leader, and heartbeat for those who do not know Christ brings even more motivation that the work of student ministry is worth every moment.

Second, the response to Christ in worship during our Overflow has been growing and this past Sunday it was evidenced in true worship in response to the story of God's redemptive work in Jesus Christ. May God continue to reveal Himself in all His Glory to our students and may they respond in life devotion and worship.

The leadership team of adults is unlike any that I have worked with. They are called to work with students and are persevering in the trenches of small groups, visitation, service, set-up, tear down, you name it, and life. God will move and work in these students because the leaders are faithfully teaching and living Christ in front of them. Thanks to them all!!!!!
